J.I. Packer and Gary A. Parrett in “Grounded In The Gospel” write, “In children’s and youth work across the board, today’s agenda is learning Bible stories rather than being grounded in truths about the Triune God.”
Does your children’s ministry think the truth has to be dumbed down for the children?
- Are you teaching the children who God is – or who you think they want Him to be?
- Do they know that God is all knowing, all powerful and all loving?
- Are they learning that though God is all loving He will walk with them through some very horrific life situations?
- Do they know the verse that promises that if they walk with Him that He has a purpose for their good in everyone of those horrific circumstances?
Become a Christian and your life will be great is not Biblical truth.
Are we entertaining kids or are we teaching so kids grasp the significance of Biblical truth for their lives?
DOES BIBLICAL TRUTH RULE THEIR THOUGHTS AND HEARTS?
